About the event
Aseel App and Learn Afghan, in partnership with Afghans Empowered, Middle East Matters, ArtLords, and Azizi Foundation present a night of Afghan culture, music, and heritage as we come together to raise money and awareness for the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.
Music performance by the internationally recognized Voice of Afghanistan, Ustad Marwash
Featuring Khalil Ragheb, and Khushal Aqmal.
Also featuring artwork for sale and auction by ArtLords.
It is expected that over 97% of Afghanistan is going to face poverty resulting in a humanitarian crisis by 2022 (UNDP). That means, lack of food, first aid packages and malnutrition in children. Aseel App has served over 40,000 individuals since August 2021, and is committed to 100% investment of all donations for humanitarian relief.
Furthermore, Afghanistan’s healthcare infrastructure is near total collapse as doctors, nurses, technicians, and staff go unpaid, and vital hospital equipment becomes scarce. Pregnant and lactating mothers are experiencing…
